Dark Moon Quarter Dismissal

For the white candle say:

For the red candle say:

“Tasuki, Guardians of the South,
Ancient ones of flames,
Thank you for lighting my path in the darkness
May there be peace between us

Go in power, blessed be.”

For the blue candle say:

“Hotohori, Guardians of the West,
Ancient ones of the waves,
Thank you for lighting my path in the darkness
May there be peace between us
Now and forever.
Go in power, blessed be.”

For the green candle say:

“Tamahome, Guardians of the North,
Ancient ones of stone,
Thank you for lighting my path in the darkness
May there be peace between us
Now and forever.
Go in power, blessed be.”

Say:

“I have walked in the darkness,
Seeking mysteries
But now I must return to the light.”

Ring bell three times.

I think this is a pretty standard opening, it just skips the part where you would open the cirlce. Again, I rarely use this anymore (in fact, i would say it's been a good ten years since this was used) mainly because if I'm doing an esbat I do full moon ones.

That doesn't mean that there isn't a good reason to do dark moon or other quarter esbats... it's just that if I'm doing spell work I do it when I need it and adapt it to work at that time. Most Wiccan traditions seem to use esbats as their time to do magic, I tend to be more flexible than that.
