Everyone should become aware of his or her connection to the earth.

Everyone join hands and raise them in the air.

Visualize the group’s energy flowing downward from your joined hands, flowing into
the earth.

Everyone say together:

“Source to source
Flow through us
Above and below
Turn to return
Clearly
Fade to grow
As we will
So mote it be!”

Slowly lower hands.

I really love the simplicity of this, it's easy to do and gets everyone on the same page. I've always preferred group rituals where there is a formal grounding at the end because I've been to too many where people are left to 'take care of themselves'. Even experienced witches can get caught up in the moment and forget. It is also just a good thing to do in case there are any practitioners who are new to the path.
