Ryu no Hoshi Incense

Ingredients:

2 parts Dragons Blood
1 part Copal
1 pinch Bay
1 drop fir needle oil

Mortar and pestle the dry ingrediants together until they are well mixed. The resins
should still be 'chunky'. Then add the drop of oil.

The Dragons Blood is for both Lucifer and Inari, as it is sacred to both of them. This is a very strong and distince scent that can become overpowering, I like to use it as a catalyst in my spells.

The copal is for meditation, and the bay is both for mediation and wisdom. This adds a rather sweet, citrusy note to the blend.

The fir needle oil is for healing.

The name translates into 'Dragon Star Incense'.

Phaedra's Notes:

I like to burn this as an offering to my patrons, especially during meditations. I think the reasons should be fairly obvious. I planned for the Dragons Blood to be a little overpowering the other ingredients, but you can still detect all of them.

To be honest, I’m not sure how well this would work for anyone who doesn’t have a strong leaning toward Dragons Blood resin. Maia seems to enjoy the scent of this incense and my youngest brother was absolutely in love with it. He wants to find something to make his room reek like this.
