The people figures on the cards often seem a little static to me, but the herb renderings are superb. If you are a budding herbalist, this is a great deck that will show you what the herbs look like as well as giving you an idea of their subtle colors. Most herbals that I have found show you the plant in black and white... which doesn't always help you identify them in the wild. Being able to see them in color really does make a difference.
One deck that I don't use very often but is excellent in diagnosing problems is the Herbal Tarot Deck. Each card corresponds to an herb and what I normally do before using them in a spread is have the person pull a single card at random. The card itself coupled with whatever the herb is normally give me a pretty good insight as to what the problem may be even if the querant isn't sure. It definitely works well for those who are Green minded. It is also a great way to learn magical herbal properties as each herb is tied to a card that is similar to it. All in all it works well either for divination or simply a learning tool.
