The Robin Wood Tarot

Even though much of the symbolism is similar to the Rider-Waite deck, I can use these without a problem. This is another deck that is rather mild in temperment, but I find that if I keep asking the same question over and over it will begin to give nonsense readings. The art is gorgeous, but that could just be the fact that I am a huge fan of hers.

Another one of my favorite decks is the Robin Wood Tarot. I had been wanting this to buy this deck for a while, but for the longest time couldn't find it anywhere! My discovery of this wonderful artist came from my Grandmother who decided that I needed a doll collection. Well, she began buying me the Robin Wood dolls, then I found a Pern art-book that was illustrated by her, next came the Scott Cunningham books with pictures by her, and finally I found out that she was Wiccan with her own web page and a deck of cards. Very exciting for me! Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this deck, it's simply gorgeous! My only drawback from it is that it is very similar to the Rider Waite deck, so much so I was worried that my nightmares would begin again. They haven't and I've actually started using this deck almost as much as my Cat Deck. There is also a 15 card layout in the booklet that is absolutely fabulous! It is the most thorough and in depth of any spread I've used.
